Why use crochet or knitting in a support group?
Research shows that activities stimulating both sides of the brain can help us process difficult memories and emotions. Crochet, knitting, embroidery, and other yarn and fabric arts provide this bilateral stimulation. Additionally, these crafts offer the self-confidence that comes from creating and completing a project.
